The Balmain Beauty Counter Manager embodies and expresses the Balmain vision to the public. The Balmain Beauty Counter Manager’s primary role is to lead by example and promote a very specific image and brand culture defined by Balmain, as well as promoting the company’s products in order to achieve retail sales goals and customer service targets.
The Balmain Beauty Counter Manager should be passionate about luxury, retail sales, storytelling and customer service. The Counter Manager is also responsible for achievement of store retail sales through achievement of retail goals, as well as leading, coaching, and developing the Balmain Beauty Ambassador Team as applicable

We are looking for Counter Managers to represent Balmain Beauty exclusively in our Elizabeth Street flagship, Sydney CBD and our Bourke Street Mall flagship, Melbourne CBD.
Responsibilities include
- The primary responsibility of the Counter Manager is to lead with luxury client service and sales.
- Set individual sales targets (break down daily) and communicate to team as applicable. Track and monitor progress through available business tools.
- Guide and drive BBA’s to achieve targets through Hero products strategy/ link selling/demonstration/consultation and communicating information with regard to Promotions and events. Encourage counter team to recruit new customers through 'stepping out' and to increase AST and UPT.
- Develop strategies and incentives to increase customer base through clientelling, grow market share, and address shortfalls in the counter's performance. Monitor and develop all three categories.
- Provide excellent customer service to all external and internal customers. Demonstrate an understanding of the customer's needs and surpass their expectations. Ensure all customer complaints are handled professionally.
- Maintain awareness of competitor's activities, results, and growth in relation to Balmain Beauty. Communicate and collaborate on relevant action plans with Area Retail Manager.
- Ensure customer details are captured accurately, capture benchmarks are met, and that details are acquired and maintained in accordance with privacy laws.

- Have previous luxury retail industry/guest services experience is desirable (preferably within beauty) with selling abilities.
- Are able to demonstrate the ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service & high touch interactions.
- Have the ability to work retail hours including days, nights, weekends and special events in a fast-paced work environment
- Have previous experience with retail point-of-sale software is desirable
