Marketing Coordinator – Menswear and Kidswear

A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Coordinator to join the Marketing team at David Jones supporting the Menswear and Kidswear categories with day-to-day marketing activity, seasonal campaigns and David Jones’ retail media program, Amplify. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Coordinator will support with a range of different campaigns designed to inspire our customers and drive commercial activity across stores and online.

With a hybrid mix of time at home as well as our corporate office, this role will suit a marketing professional that is a highly collaborate professional who is enthusiastic about creating great marketing and people experiences.

What does the role involve?

  • Support the Men’s and Kid’s marketing team in executing the strategic initiatives across all key marketing campaigns and activities
  • Liaise with various stakeholders, internally and externally, to implement retail media programs, new brand launches, and ongoing trade programs
  • Work closely to support both the Marketing Manager and Marketing Specialist to drive and develop paid media, online and eDM campaigns
  • Support the marketing team with the creation of brand reports and presentations as required
  • Understand industry insights and produce post-campaign analysis reports
  • Key administration tasks such as invoice management, sample coordination and marketing calendar management

The successful candidate who’ll THRIVE in the role will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Strong problem solver who can navigate through complex environments
  • A proven ability to manage, maintain and strengthen stakeholder relationships
  • A self-starter who thrives in collaborating with others as well as being able to work autonomously
  • Highly developed communication, time management and organisational skills
  • Demonstrated, consistent working experience operating in a similar role ideally within the retail, fashion or FMCG industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or similar is preferred
