Ecommerce Trade Specialist

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage Production Co-ordinator role in the corresponding category
• Manage an Online Trade Coordinator in an emerging category and oversee their program of work and success
• Achieve the sales and gross profit targets set out in the Online Trading Strategy which includes both Own Buy & Concession Sales
• Contribute to the market share growth of David Jones
• Be a key point of contact for Merch/Buyers Assistants to ensure the company wide Category Strategy is delivered
• Be a key point of contact for David Jones Customer Service teams to help resolve customer queries to a positive resolution that relate to product
• Oversee selected product placement, promotional planning, and onsite marketing calendar in conjunction with the Digital Marketing team
• Ensure all imagery and copy on the website is complete, accurate, and within David Jones guidelines
• Continuous improvement of product/site merchandising
• Focus will primarily be on a dedicated category within the business – but assistance across other categories will be required
• Assist Online Trade Management with reporting and act as an SME in the assigned category when required
• Assist with or oversee initiatives/projects outside of day to day trade activities that will have a positive impact on sales, conversion, & NPS
• Assist with implementing best practices across customer journey for product discoverability, promotion offers and campaign launches

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required.

• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Full competencies on a range of computer software and programmes ,
• An understanding of the Ecommerce landscape in Australia and other similar markets
• Strong activation skills and a desire to execute flawlessly
• Experience in managing a small but high achieving team
