What YOU WILL ACHIEVE

The Ecommerce Trade Coordinator will be responsible for the online trade of their assigned portfolio, delivering accurate execution of day-to-day trade activities. Partnering with cross functional teams and the portfolio’s Ecommerce Trade Manager to execute digital trade strategies and deliver performance KPIs.

What YOUR DAY LOOKS LIKE

 Customer Obsessed & Delivering Service Like No Other

  • Nurture strong business relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally (vendors)
  • Be a key point of contact for Merch/Buyers Assistants to ensure the company wide Category Strategy is delivered
  • Be a key point of contact for David Jones Customer Service teams to help resolve customer queries to a positive resolution that relate to product
  • Review customer feedback & NPS and support Ecommerce Trade Manager to put plans in place to improve customer experience

 

Driving Commercial & Operational Achievement

  • Responsible for online trade of portfolio, including all merchandise buying types
  • Deliver budgeted KPIs, including revenue and profit targets
  • Contribute to the market share of David Jones 
  • Partner with the Website Merchandisers to support site governance and ensure imagery and copy on the website is complete, accurate and adheres to David Jones guidelines
  • Partner with the Ecommerce Brand Manager to support Concession and Dropship vendors
  • Partner with Merchandise, Marketing and internal David Jones teams to execute the Online trade plan and strategy
  • Report back to key stakeholders on trade performance
  • Continuous improvement of product/site merchandising, including using tools such as Fredhopper to assist with sequencing and site search accuracy
  • Assist with initiatives/projects outside of day-to-day trade activities that will have a positive impact on sales, conversion, & NPS

  • Be a positive role model and integral part of the Ecommerce Trade Team, supporting your direct team and the wider Ecommerce team to ensure best practice process is shared across all portfolios and create a collaborative environment
  • Manage priorities and communicate with Ecommerce Trade Manager to deliver tasks accurately and on time

What YOU’LL NEED TO THRIVE

  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Full competencies on a rage of computer software and programmes including Office suite, Site Analytics and reporting insights to support trade
  • Strong presentation & relationship management skills
  • Attention to detail and a desire to execute accurately
  • Ability to prioritise tasks to support trade outcomes

 

How WE MEASURE ACHIEVEMENT

You will achieve by delivering outcomes aligned to the following measures.  Specific goals and key performance indicators will be determined as part of MyGoals and set each financial year:

  • Each category has several key performance metrics including sales, profit, traffic, and conversion, which this role will contribute to, and which will be set periodically
  • Sales & Profit targets for Online (all categories)
  • Site improvement metrics such as conversion & other documented KPI’s
  • NPS targets
  • Online share of business
  • Accuracy of department categories and product assortment to support trade activities
