About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic SEO Manager to drive our organic search performance, enhance discoverability, and contribute to revenue growth. This role is perfect for an SEO expert with a strong technical foundation, data-driven mindset, and leadership capabilities.

As the SEO lead, you’ll develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies, optimise website architecture, and collaborate with cross-functional teams - including content, product, development, and marketing - to deliver best-in-class search experiences.

What YOUR DAY LOOKS LIKE

SEO Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies aligned with company objectives to drive sustained organic growth.
  • Conduct in-depth keyword research, competitive analysis, and market trend assessments to inform strategic decision-making.

Longtail Strategy & Execution

  • Scaling – Implement a longtail keyword strategy to expand organic reach across multiple search intents.
  • Optimising – Ensure longtail search terms are integrated into content and structured effectively for maximum impact.

Website Migration

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO migration plan to minimise traffic and ranking disruptions.
  • Collaborate with development, UX, and content teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated throughout the migration process.

Technical SEO & Site Architecture

  • Ensure website architecture and technical aspects are optimised for search engines, enhancing crawlability, indexing, and user experience.
  • Work closely with development teams to implement best practices for mobile-first indexing, site speed, and Core Web Vitals.

Performance Monitoring & ROI Reporting

  • Leverage advanced analytics tools (Google Search Console, BrightEdge, Ahrefs, Google Analytics, etc.) to track and measure SEO performance.
  • Deliver comprehensive performance reports and actionable insights, using data storytelling to communicate SEO impact to key stakeholders.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Delegate tasks effectively to SEO Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), ensuring each team member’s skills are leveraged optimally.
  • Manage and lead internal SEO meetings, providing clear direction on key initiatives, priorities, and performance goals.

Budget & Resource Management

  • Oversee and manage the SEO budget, ensuring cost-effective investment in SEO initiatives while maximising ROI.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Content, Product, UX, and Paid Media teams to ensure SEO efforts are seamlessly integrated into broader digital marketing strategies.

 

What YOU’LL NEED TO THRIVE

  • Strong experience in SEO, with a proven track record of driving organic traffic growth and improving search rankings.
  • Detailed understanding of SEO fundamentals and advanced strategies, including technical SEO, content optimisation, and authority-building tactics.
  • Strong experience in developing and executing SEO strategies that align with business and revenue objectives.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and manage an SEO team.
  • Proficiency in SEO analytics tools (Google Search Console, BrightEdge, Ahrefs, Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, etc.).
  • Expertise in technical SEO, including site speed optimisation, mobile-first indexing, structured data, and crawl efficiency.
