A rare chance to play an integral part of the development and execution of training content for our David Jones American Express Partnership

You will play an integral part of the development and execution of training content for our David Jones American Express Partnership.  A newly created role, your content will be designed to support CX & EX project initiatives across all customer facing touchpoints in line with industry offering. You will be a true collaborator, working cross functionally to identify learning opportunities, engage internal SMEs to source content, and deliver specialised training to our omnichannel teams to embed a customer obsessed culture.  Reporting to the Project Manager - Customer Experience, this is a unique opportunity to ideate and facilitate the delivery of learning strategies both within retail and financial products across two Iconic brands.

With a hybrid mix of time at home as well as our corporate office, this role would suit someone with proven training experience, ideally within a retail setting, to lead a calendar of retail learning initiatives for David Jones.

In this role you will:

  • Design and develop training plans for retail teams
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to create training tools to drive performance
  • Produce training and coaching content in partnership with AMEX
  • Develop creative formats to cascade training and coaching content
  • Oversee, coordinate or facilitate training sessions or workshops as required
  • Develop and maintain positive, effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Work cross functionally to achieve training timelines
  • Collaborate with internal SMEs to develop training content
  • Provide reporting on key success measures
  • Complete Post Implementation Reviews as required

We are looking for:

  • Demonstrated experience working within a HR or Learning & Development environment
  • Understanding of Rewards programs
  • Experience facilitating training sessions and workshops
  • Cert IV in Workplace Training and Assessment (preferred)
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship building skills
  • Demonstrated understanding of adult learning principles
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Effective influencing skills
  • Intermediate skills in Word, Excel & Powerpoint
