We are seeking a talented Digital Content Coordinator to support the delivery of our digital retail strategy. This role will be responsible for ensuring content is optimised to drive sales, visits and growth to the David Jones website.

In this role you will:

  • Planning, content creation, copywriting, creative briefing, uploading and activation of marketing activities and campaigns on David Jones digital channels. 
  • Coordination and creation of digital content, briefing and approval with relevant stakeholders and wider marketing teams
  • Contribute and help manage online marketing content calendar and vendor marketing campaigns
  • Be able to react quickly to short turn around promotions and campaigns
  • Work closely with creative studio on the creation of content and ensuring quality control and approval processes are in place
  • Liaise with other internal business units to acquire content for use across all digital channels and brand consistency
  • Report back on the performance of the content and develop on-going improvement strategies to maximise engagement and conversion
  • Monitor our competitors and provide insights into trends, issues, opportunities and threats in the space
  • Extract, interpret and utilise data to provide insights into trends, issues, opportunities and threats in the digital space and implement these into the content plan when applicable

We are looking for that little bit extra, so join us if you:

  • Are Degree qualified in Marketing, Communications, PR ,Planning or related disciplines
  • Have Digital Media, Marketing, Marketing/Communications, PR, Customer Service  experience
  • Have strong knowledge of best practice across digital content including web, CRM and social media
  • Familiarity with web design and content management systems
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • An ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines
  • Have strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Possess excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, with the ability to influence stakeholders across the organisation
  • Have the ability to work independently, self-manage & prioritise tasks
